Nathan Manilow Sculpture Park
The Nathan Manilow Sculpture Park at Governors State University offers visitors the opportunity to encounter major artworks by world-renowned sculptors in a wild prairie setting.
Open dawn until dusk 365 days a year, the park includes 26 sculptures, many of them with an interactive quality, by artists such as Mark diSuvero, Richard Hunt, Mary Miss, Bruce Nauman, and Martin Puryear.
Well-maintained pathways connect objects and wildlife abounds. The Nathan Manilow Sculpture Park offers a lively schedule of tours, special events, and programs for adults and children, which complements the artwork and seeks to enhance visitor appreciation.
